Do I need a Texas alcohol TABC server/seller certification?

If you are an alcohol seller in Texas, you are required to complete a TABC-certified alcohol seller training certification course. If you are an alcohol server in Texas, you are not required to complete a TABC-certified alcohol server certification course, but it is highly recommended. Enrolling in and completing an alcohol certification course will award you with the StateFoodSafety Texas Alcohol TABC Server/Seller Certification.

Is this StateFoodSafety Texas Alcohol TABC Certification training and test approved for my area?

This TABC Certification, including training and a test, is approved for use throughout the state of Texas as an alcohol seller training by the TABC.

When do I need to get my Texas Alcohol TABC Certification?

Alcohol sellers need a TABC certificate within 30 days of starting work.

What do I get when I finish this course?

Texas Alcohol TABC Server/Seller Certification card.

How long is my StateFoodSafety Texas Alcohol TABC Server/Seller Certification valid for?

Your Texas Alcohol TABC Server/Seller Certification will be valid for 2 years.

Do I also need a food handler permit?

If your establishment serves both alcohol and food, you are required to have a Texas Food Handlers Card.

How do I renew my StateFoodSafety Texas Alcohol TABC Server/Seller Certification?

If your TABC Certification has expired, you will need to purchase and retake the Texas Alcohol TABC Server/Seller Certification training and test. If you need to reprint your current TABC Certification, log in and go to the Certificates section. From there, you can click View and print your card.

How long can I access the course?
